• Curriculum vitae (maximum 2 pages).

• Letter from the visiting centre & consultant cardiothoracic surgeon confirming acceptance and details of the experience to be gained.

• Letter of support from a current or recent consultant cardiothoracic surgeon mentor.

Successful applicants will be announced at the SCTS Annual Meeting in Glasgow (18th – 20th March 2018). They will also be expected to submit a report to be published in the SCTS Bulletin and a short video describing their fellowship to be shown at the 2019 SCTS Annual Meeting.

The fellowships must be started within 12 months of the award.

Please send the completed application, along with accompanying documents, to [email protected], with the subject line: "Medical Student Fellowship 2018 Application".
